At Cogans Carrigaline, we  are delighted to continue with our support of the local clubs by providing t equipment to the “Football For All” programme based in Carrigaline.

James Cogan of Cogans Carrigaline  presented the set of windcheaters to the members of the team in our dealership . Speaking about the donation Robert said, “At Cogans Carrigaline, supporting the local  community and   is important to us.  The’ Football For All’ programme is a great project to support as it gives the opportunity to kids with special needs to keep fit, understand teamwork and develop social skills”.

The Football for All programme is designed by the FAI for kids with Special Needs aged 6 upwards who may not get the opportunity to play for mainstream teams but want to play soccer with their local clubs. The team of boys and girls with SN’s such as Autism, ADHD, DS and Learning Difficulties train every Saturday with qualified FAI coaches. The children in the Football for All clubs get the chance to play for Carrigaline United in regular Blitz’s against other Football for All clubs. Last year the team travelled to Tallaght to compete

There will be a recruitment day held for the team on September 6th at Douglas Village Shopping Centre. For more details about the recruitment day you can contact: Killian 086 864 5700 or  Brian 086 2778372
